TMT Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet
More stock due 19/11/2024
The Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet (TMT) is a recently CoTCCC recommended tourniquet to be added to the Autumn 2019 Guidelines. The TMT is one of the newest tourniquets to be proposed to the USA Department of Defense since 2005.
The TMT is in stock now at SP Services.
The Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet (TMT) is a haemorrhage control device specifically designed for massive haemorrhage control of an extremity.
Using lessons learned from the battlefield, the TMT is designed to ensure ease of application, definitively control haemorrhage and eliminate the current tourniquet “percentage of failure” rates. Taught as a self-aid/buddy-aid task, the TMT requires minimal training to instantly treat life threatening haemorrhage of an extremity.
